The O’Brien Center for Career Development can support you in helping your students learn about careers and majors. Please contact Laura Thibodeau, Career Advisor for the School of Science and Technology and the School of Business or Sarah Mackler, Career Advisor for the School of Liberal Arts and the School of Education. meets with all students studying within the School of Liberal Arts and the School of Education regarding collaboration.

We have had great success in the past by offering students various programs that help to aid their exploration and continual growth of knowledge about different careers and majors. Some of our past successful events include:

Alumni and employer panels

English Career Night - This event provided interested students with the opportunity to meet and network with recent alumni from the English Department, all of whom took various paths after graduating from Merrimack College.

Psychology Panel - Students who are interested in psychology, thinking about their future, and wanted to learn more about related careers were in attendance at this event.They listened to professionals speak about their careers within the field of psychology and the journey they took to get there.

Career Related Speakers

Federal Reserve Bank of Boston - Merrimack Students were given the opportunity to learn more about the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston through discussions led by Research Assistants about their experiences at the Federal Reserve Bank.
