Clinical Placement Coordinator
I am a pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP) with almost 20 years of nursing experience. I started my career on a pediatric medical-surgical floor, moved to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and then moved on to outpatient clinics so I could pursue an advanced degree.
I have been a PNP for three years – currently specializing in liver transplants. I have been teaching nursing for 10 years with a background in pediatrics and nurse of the future seminars. I moved into clinical placement eight years ago where I enjoy building relationships between college institutions and healthcare facilities. These opportunities create hands-on experiences for nursing students to promote well-rounded, forward-thinking, healthcare professionals.
My research interests include pediatrics, well child health, clinical efficacy in higher education and health education.
