Instructional Professor, Hospitality Management
My research focuses on the role of motivation and destination image in various tourism settings (sport tourism, family tourism).
I teach the undergrad Hospitality Management courses, as well as other Management courses such as Organizational Behavior, Introduction to Business, and Technology Skills for Business.
I worked primarily in the hosptiality industry for roughly 20 years before entering the teaching profession. I served as a Subsistence Specialist in the United States Coast Guard, Food and Beverage Director for health care facilities, and as Food and Beverage Controller for Hilton Hotels International.
