ORSP Services
Research Compliance and Institutional Review Board:
- Ensures that the College is complying with all applicable regulations and policies regarding financial conflict of interest (FCOI), responsible conduct of research (RCR), and research misconduct.
- Ensures protocols and approvals for regulatory compliance are kept current throughout the life of the project.
- Facilitates the execution of IRB Reliance Agreements and Data Use & Transfer Agreements when collaborating with external institutions
- The Institutional Review Board (IRB) is charged with safeguarding the rights and well-being of human subjects in research and projects conducted at or sponsored by Merrimack College. Submit an application to the IRB via Cayuse Human Ethics.

Strategic Academic Research Trajectory Package (START)
The Strategic Academic Research Trajectory Package (START) offers faculty members the opportunity to receive support for their research. Each selected member receives ongoing support in developing their research strategies, funding to use during their research, and administrative assistance in writing grants and submitting applications. Faculty interested in START should email April Bowling, Vice President of Research.
