Merrimack College has embarked on an ambitious building program that supports our mission of stimulating creativity, community and, above all, excellence, in our students, faculty and staff.
Building on the nearly 950,000 gross square feet of new and renovated space achieved during the first phase of the college’s strategic plan, the Agenda for Distinction, we are setting a course to further enrich the campus experience through an additional 700,000 gross square feet of new or renovated space.
Crowe Hall, new home to the Girard School of Business, and the Dr. Alfred L. Arcidi Center anchor the North Campus development, which also includes student housing, the Honors Program, the Sanctuary Coffeehouse and the future Nursing Center (opening 2020).
Duane Stadium, a multiuse facility with a seating capacity of 4,000, features new chairback and bleacher-style seating, a synthetic turf field and an eight-lane, 400-meter track.
“Merrimack is an institution on the move. And while we’ve made great strides over the past eight years, we can’t afford to rest on our laurels. We must continue on our trajectory of providing the best possible educational experience for our students, and that starts with creating the spaces and facilities where they can grow and thrive intellectually, socially and spiritually.”
