Mucci Capital Markets Lab
With a full array of Bloomberg terminals offering real-time market data, research capabilities and powerful analytics, the Mucci Capital Markets Lab is a first-rate educational resource for business and finance students.
The Mucci Capital Markets Lab is growing and adapting to meet student needs and reflect industry trends. Three new terminals were recently added. Other highlights of the lab:
- 19 Bloomberg terminals available to all students.
- Lab assistants available to help students become Bloomberg certified.
- Open seven days a week.
The lab is the ideal setting in which to hone your research and analytic skills and attain Bloomberg certification — a key advantage in the competitive financial industry. The lab has become a critical component of the curriculum.
Funding from Paul and Joyce Mucci, parents of a class of 2007 graduate, made the lab and its activities possible. Paul, a Fidelity Investments executive who has worked at the firm for more than 20, believed this lab was the ideal way to offer Merrimack students a competitive edge in the marketplace:
“It really puts students in touch with the real world of finance and investing,” he said. “For students looking for jobs as traders, analysts or almost any other position in an investment firm, [Bloomberg] certification gives them an advantage in the market.”
