The Certificate in Spiritual Direction program prepares candidates to be empowered Spiritual Directors through hands-on field experience.
In today’s complex world, there is a growing need for spiritual directors who are equipped to help others connect more deeply with their spiritual lives. Through interactive and interdisciplinary coursework, you will learn how concepts of spirituality and faith can be put into practice to guide others through their spiritual journeys.
Upon successful completion of the program, you’ll emerge with the knowledge, skills and insights you’ll need for a fulfilling career as an empowered spiritual director, counseling and supporting others in their spiritual journey.
In this episode, we have two special guests – Katherine Gundersen who is an alum of the Spiritual Direction program, and Laura O’Connor who is an alum of the Spirituality program. During the episode the pair dives into the inspiring journey of going back to school, assuring everyone that age is just a number and fear is unnecessary in Merrimack’s warm and supportive community.
