Minor Requirements

imageThe Department of Biology welcomes minors from many academic backgrounds into our program. The requirements for the Minor program in biology are the following:

  • BIO1027 Principles of Biology I
  • BIO1028 Principles of Biology II
  • BIO2018 Genetics
  • BIO2010 Ecology
  • One additional upper level Biology course

Students who minor in biology will be assigned an advisor from the biology faculty. We have had students from a host of majors choose biology minors, including Psychology, Chemistry, Sociology, Business and Environmental Studies and Sustainability.
