When St. Augustine heard the words Tolle Lege (“Take up and read”), he heard it as a divine call to knowledge. For more than two decades, this tradition has proudly brought together Merrimack faculty, staff, alumni and community members to celebrate scholarship and honor the vibrant academic culture of Merrimack College.
A distinguished academic tradition, this event honors Merrimack’s community members who have published works during the previous year. Short program includes welcoming remarks from the Provost, faculty lightning talks, and faculty research awards. Merrimack authors are invited to sign their works, mingle with other authors, and browse a display of works added to McQuade Library’s special collection.
Research faculty plays a critical role in advancing Merrimack’s mission. To celebrate their contributions, the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs has established three awards to recognize research excellence among faculty from across Merrimack’s six schools for their significant contributions to their fields and research development at Merrimack. The awards are the Outstanding Research Mentorship Award, the Spirit of Discovery Award, and the Early Career Researcher Award.
