Andy Cooney, Irish America’s Favorite Son, direct from his sold out performances at Carnegie Hall, teams up with Noel V. Ginnity for The Irish Cabaret. With his outstanding voice and dynamic stage presence, Andy Cooney is a favorite among American and Irish audiences. The combination of his talent, versatility, and flair for entertaining equals the ability to deliver a song directly into the hearts of his audience.
Noel V. Ginnity has long been recognized as Ireland’s greatest comedian. Noel has starred in one of Dublin’s longest running cabarets for 35 years! His endless supply of funny stories, many based on uniquely Irish characters, continues to entertain both the Irish and visitors from all corners of the globe. Noel is blessed with a natural ability to draw audiences into fits of laughter as soon as he steps onto the stage.
Since 1998, Darrah Carr Dance has created a sensational and unique blend of traditional Irish step and contemporary modern dance. The company draws from Irish music, step dance footwork, and spatial patterns to create high-energy, rhythmically based work that is accessible to a broad audience.
The Guinness Folk Band, with dynamic musical director Bugs Moran on piano, the energetic Jimmy Kelly on drums, Matthew Fisher’s magnificent horns, flutes and whistles, and terrific Irish guitarist Colm Graham, brings traditional Irish instrumentals and accompaniment to the evening.
