“Think Globally/Act Locally: Feed Your Neighbor”

11:00am - 4:00pm EST February 7, 2018

MPR in the Sakowich Campus Center

Join us again this year to pack 15,000 nutritious meals for the Merrimack Valley Food Bank at a time of year when supplies are low. One-hour shifts from 11am-4pm working side-by-side with our interfaith coalition of congregations and community organizations from around the Merrimack Valley.

Food insecurity is a social justice issue!

Join us to raise money and pack meals on February 7th.

Through a collaboration with Outreach, Inc., we plan to raise $3,750 to package 15,000 meals for our neighbors in the Merrimack Valley. All meals will be packaged on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from noon to 3:00 p.m., with shifts for setup and cleanup as well.

This event is open to any individual, congregation, or community - religious or nonreligious - interested in participating. Check back in November to sign up for a shift on Feb. 7th.

Meals are packed by assembly lines in one-hour shifts. Intentional opportunities to meet people of other faiths and traditions are part of this experience. There will be dialogue and reflection to deepen the meaning of the day.

Check back in November for Donation instructions.
