The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning collaborates with faculty to design, build, and innovate transformative educational experiences. We accomplish this through the intentional integration of academic technology and strong pedagogical practices.
We assist all faculty and instructional staff in the process of becoming excellent teachers in order to support student success, resilience and retention. Cognitive learning theory, culturally responsive pedagogy and Universal Design for Learning are the foundations of this work and inform all Center programming and consultations. As co-creators and learning experts, we can help you design quality online and hybrid courses, create engaging activities and assignments, facilitate effective dialogues and labs, and learn powerful educational technologies and support the success of all learners.
