Parking FAQs
How do I apply for parking?
Click “Student” at the top of the page
Scroll down to the parking tab (If you’re on a mobile device, click the three lines in the top left corner)
Complete the Student Vehicle Registration Form
Who should I contact with questions or concerns?
For vehicle registration and assignment questions, please reach out to the Mack Force at [email protected].
Where can I pick up my parking pass?
Once you receive confirmation that you have been assigned a parking spot, you can pick up your pass at the Mack Force Central desk on the first floor of McQuade Library.
The Mack Force is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday – Thursday, and 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Friday.
Please bring a picture ID with you when picking up your pass.
Who gets awarded parking?
All commuter students (graduate and undergraduate) are guaranteed parking.
All resident students are welcome to complete the Student Vehicle Parking Registration Form; however, resident parking spaces are not guaranteed and will be prioritized by:
- Class level (seniors and graduate students are given priority)
- Students enrolled in an off-campus & credit-bearing internship, co-op, or practicum placement.
Please note: Freshmen and sophomore resident students, as a general rule, should not expect to have a vehicle on campus, and opportunities for juniors will be limited. If we have spots available for underclassmen it most likely will be in our off-campus parking lot at Andover Landing.
Who can apply for premium parking?
All Graduate, Undergraduate, Resident or Commuter students can apply for premium parking. Due to the limited number of spots in this lot, these spots are awarded on a first come, first serve basis, and may fill up quickly.
What is the cost of parking and how will I pay?
2026-2027 Tentative Pricing *Subject to Change*:
- Premium Parking (Lot J) – $1,902 per year
- Resident Student (Lot K) – $826 per year
- Resident Student- Royal Crest (through Residence Life) – $826 per year
- Off-Campus Parking – $270 per year
- Commuter Parking – $270 per year
*Parking fees are subject to change, final pricing will be determined in July.
Once you pick up your parking pass, your student account will be charged.
When should I expect the parking charge to go on my account?
All parking fees will be reflected on the student’s bill after the parking decals are assigned and picked up from the Mack Force desk on the first floor of McQuade Library.
For billing-related questions, please reach out to the Student Account Center at [email protected].
Does the timing of my parking application affect my chances of receiving a permit?
As long as you apply by the deadline, you will be included in the pool of applicants considered for a parking pass. Applications submitted after the deadline will be placed on a waiting list.
Can I purchase a parking pass for just the semester?
Absolutely! If you are only here for a semester, please indicate which semester you are looking for on your application.
This applies to students graduating in the fall, graduate students, students who are studying abroad, or anyone else that may fit this category.
What if I’m not sure if I will need a car next semester?
When in doubt, fill it out! You can always decline a parking decal if you end up not needing one. It is better to fill out the application before the deadline and secure a space than to be put on a waiting list.
What if I don’t know what car I’ll be using next year?
Submit an application with any car you may use. If you’re planning on obtaining a vehicle over the Summer, any car information will do. You can always resubmit your updated vehicle information after the fact.
What if I need medical parking accommodations?
- All students should apply for a parking decal through the traditional parking registration process.
- If you are looking for parking to accommodate a medical need, please go to the Accessibility Services website for more information regarding the process
- If you have a disability placard through your home state, you are allowed to park in any marked HP space in any lot. Please note, parking outside of these HP marked spaces without a proper parking permit may result in a ticket being issued.
- Reach out to [email protected] if you have any questions
