Together We Rise will bring to life the bold and ambitious goals laid out in Merrimack’s Agenda for the Future. With your help, we will raise $100 million to enable our institution to innovate, grow, serve and win for years to come.

Our institution has limitless potential to drive groundbreaking innovation. That’s why we aim to increase research investments, attract research-focused faculty members and students, and build state-of-the-art research facilities. LET'S INNOVATE

We will strategically invest in the student experience and expand our academic offerings—advancing real-world, hands-on learning, creating innovative ways to consume education and offering wraparound support services. LET'S GROW

Guided by our Catholic Augustinian values, we will open our college to more underrepresented students, invest in civic and community engagement initiatives, and expand service-learning and off-campus opportunities. LET'S SERVE

Together, we will strengthen the Warrior community, enhancing and expanding our athletics facilities, growing The Warrior Fund, and fielding top student-athletes and coaches from across the nation. LET'S WIN
“Together, we will claim our place among the nation’s top Catholic colleges, cement our reputation as a leading research institution and act boldly and collaboratively to make an indelible mark on our campus, our community and the world at large.”
— Christopher E. Hopey, Ph.D., President of Merrimack College
“At Merrimack, we have been blessed with a community of change agents who are willing to be more than bystanders. These individuals, families, corporations and foundations step up again and again as champions of our Catholic Augustinian mission.”
— Kevin ’89 and Karen Lucey P’24, Campaign Chairs

After six years away from Merrimack, Shannon Connolly ’19, M’25 was thrilled to embark on her fifth SEND trip to Costa Rica. Now, as a master’s student in the health promotion and management program, Shannon served as a trip advisor, something she’d never done before.
She and 10 undergraduate students, most of whom were in Merrimack’s nursing program, assisted with children’s clinics on basic hygiene and health needs. The group also worked alongside physical and occupational therapists at nursing homes and helped local health officials with public clinics in the underserved communities.

What started as a friendship on campus led to six alumni returning to Merrimack to share their experiences navigating the professional world with the College`s next generation of female business leaders. Those in attendance dined, networked and received sage professional advice from the alumni during the inaugural Warrior Women at Work event!
The @obriencenter event welcomed Katie Walker ’05, a private bank market leader and managing director at Bank of America. "Transitioning to Merrimack from Northern Essex Community College has been an incredible experience. All of my classes transferred and the change was really smooth. I love Merrimack’s education program, especially pre-practicums and having hands-on observation hours in real classrooms. I have been able to form great connections with my professors and I like that the classes are slightly larger, too.
My plan is to complete my bachelor’s degree in elementary education and then continue at Merrimack for my master’s in special education with the fellowship program. I know that I want to teach in a diverse community like Lawrence or Haverhill."
