Housing Selection

Returning Undergraduate Housing Selection

Learn more about how to make sure you are able to sign up for housing for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Graduate student housing is located at Royal Crest with a variety of options including furnished or unfurnished apartments. Living in graduate housing will give you flexibility with meal plan options based on what you are receiving through your fellowship.

Graduate students looking to live with undergraduate students must go through the undergraduate housing selection process. All graduate students living in undergraduate housing are required to have a meal plan and will follow the current undergraduate options.

Some of the Exciting Changes Coming to On-Campus Living:

  • More apartment-style living, with the same Merrimack benefits you expect—Wi-Fi, cable, utilities and laundry all included.
  • Single rooms are now available as part of the housing selection process, with singles available.
  • More flexible meal plan options, with a wider range of choices to match different meals-per-week needs.
  • New residence halls with expanded amenities, including air conditioning, social and common spaces, dedicated study areas and access to single-user bathrooms.

  1. Log in to MyMack.

  2. Click on “Students” at the top of the screen.

  3. Click on “Bill Pay” under the Warrior One Stop section.

  4. Click ‘Go to Transact Payments’.

  5. Scroll down to “Available Items”, select Housing Deposit and then Add to Payment

  6. Follow payment instructions.

For any questions, contact the Bursar’s Office at 978-837-5599 or by email at [email protected].

Due Date

Housing deposits are due Thursday, February 19, 2026. You will need to pay a housing deposit to be able to participate in housing selection.

For any questions, please email the Office of Residence Life at [email protected].

Roommate group selection for deposited students will begin on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026. If you have an odd numbered group, that selects an even room, a group of one will be placed in the open bed of the space your group has selected. All unmatched students will enter our process as a individual and will be placed at the end of our process.

To create a group, students should follow these steps:

  1. Log into your MyHousing Portal.
  2. In the menu click on “Roommate Selection.”
  3. Click “select roommates.”
  4. Where it says “for the term,” change the date to Fall 2026.
  5. Scroll down to “Pending roommate Requests.” If you have any, click the three buttons next to their name and either accept or decline.
  6. If you need to match with more members of your group, click “search for roommate” and search for the first person you are looking to live with by entering their information and clicking “begin search.”
  7. “Search Results” will appear below and you will click to request a roommate. That roommate will then receive a pending request.
  8. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for all people you are requesting to live with.

Once everyone has requested or accepted a request from each member of the group, they will be considered “fully matched.” If not everyone matches with each other, the group will not be considered fully matched, and students will not be able to participate in the process. Residence Life will reach out to you if this is not completed.

Roommate Groups

Your housing selection priority will be based on your group’s size and your group’s cohort year. Cohort year refers to the year that students entered the college.

Please see below for further explanation:

  • Groups who are exclusively rising seniors (entering ’23)* will receive the best housing selection time on their group size’s selection night
