I am a fiction writer.  My short stories have appeared in Ploughshares, New England Review, AGNI, One Story and elsewhere and have won two Pushcart Prizes. I have received awards from the Bread Loaf and Sewanee Writers’ Conferences, the MacDowell Colony, Yaddo, and the Elizabeth George Foundation.  My first collection, Love Like That, is forthcoming by Henry Holt & Co. in 2021. I am currently at work on a novel.
