Title

Clinical Intern
Biography

I’m a graduate student pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I received a B.A. in Sociology and Behavioral Science from University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I focused on the juvenile justice system and, more generally, the criminal justice system. I have a background in Civil Rights and Employment Discrimination law and continue to have a deep commitment to these issues.

As a clinical intern, my goal is to support and empower students to navigate social and academic challenges as they explore their intersecting, multicultural identities and face major life transitions. As a graduate student, I am interested multiple therapeutical approaches, particularly those that focus on radical acceptance, coping strategies, increasing distress tolerance, and building an equalitarian and trusting therapeutic relationship.
