Psychology Major Discovers Herself At Merrimack

A current junior at Merrimack College, Molly feels that she’s found her home within the campus community. “From the moment I first stepped foot on campus, I felt like I had someone supporting me. This has remained true as I entered my junior year. Between the school spirit, clubs & organizations, and the attentive faculty, Merrimack has helped me discover who I am. I can honestly say I would not be who I am today if it was not for Merrimack.”

Campagnone appreciates the time she’s spent so far with our faculty, especially working with Dr. Debra Michals. “Dr. Debra Michals has shown me through her enthusiasm while teaching that I should study what interests me and pursue what I love. Life is too short to not do something you’re passionate about.”

“Merrimack was the one school that fulfilled all my checkboxes for what I was looking for in a college.”

Molly is an extremely active student on campus. Her involvement includes the honors program where she is not only a member of the honors student council, but also has acted as a peer mentor, served as a peer mentor in the first year experience program, works on the executive board as an admissions ambassador, and is president of Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK).

In the summer of her junior year, Molly held a field experience position with the Recreational Education Center in Chelmsford, where she acted as a behavioral technician. “I worked 1 on 1 with children and teens who had Autism spectrum disorders, and found the experience to be extremely rewarding.”
