Two New Residence Halls
Opening Aug. 2026, our new halls feature both traditional and suite-style rooms, plus brand new academic, dance, eSports spaces, Honors Living Learning Community and an on-campus fitness center.
New Academic Building
This two-floor, 19,205-square-foot facility, opening in Jan. 2026, increases Merrimack’s academic space and will feature 700 seats across five lecture halls.
New Home for CADA Dept.
The new Creative Arts, Design and Architecture (CADA) Department will provide state-of-the-art studios and spaces designed to inspire creativity and innovation. It opens Fall 2026.

Augustinian Mission
Merrimack is one of two Augustinian Catholic Colleges in the U.S., along with Villanova University. Merrimack’s mission aligns with the values of Pope Leo XIV, the first American and first Augustinian to become pontiff, who received an honorary degree from Merrimack in 2005.
Community Service
Merrimack College students actively live out the Augustinian values of unity, service, and love of neighbor through their commitment to community engagement.
