The Department of Natural Sciences includes programs in biochemistry, biology, chemistry, and environmental science and sustainability. Housing these programs in one department has enabled us to create unique and distinctive interdisciplinary curriculums and research opportunities for students, while still offering the traditional science degrees.
At Merrimack, all of the programs within the Department of Natural Sciences have an emphasis on hands-on learning, which is supported by robust laboratories that are equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation.
