Energy and Climate

The Center supports on-campus projects focused on improving energy efficiency, monitoring energy use and exploring alternative energy.

We also promote a deeper understanding of local and regional climate change impacts by sharing information, transferring knowledge and participating in public climate events.

On campus, we are focused on energy efficiency, auditing our energy usage and exploring innovations for sustainable energy.  Jack Adams in electrical engineering leads the effort with his expertise in energy efficiency and energy systems.

In the broader community, the Center has taken on a role of facilitating dialogue, information sharing and knowledge transfer regarding the regional effort to address and adapt to climate change.   The Center will be hosting a Climate Speaker Series in academic year 2018-2019.  More information will be available on the series in the very near future.
