Student Green Team
Founded in 2008, the Student Green Team is the student arm of sustainability on the campus. All students are welcome.

The Green Team is a great opportunity for you to work with more than 150 fellow students and the Merrimack College community on a variety of sustainability and environmental activities and events. The group meets regularly and is involved in a wide range of activities on campus, including:
- Promoting the campus recycling program in all residence halls and academic buildings
- Planning annual events in partnership with the Center for Sustainability and the Environment
- Helping organize environmental career events
- Running campus clean-ups
- Organizing field trips and social events
Open to all students, the Green Team is a great way to get your hands dirty and your mind involved in the greening of Merrimack and the greater community.
Student Mini-Grant Program (2018-2019)
The Center offers our students the opportunity to apply for mini-grants in support of research projects, or initiatives that promote sustainability and environmental innovation. This is a competitive grant program overseen by the Center Director and faculty members of the Steering Committee. You can apply for a Mini-Grant here. The deadline is rolling but projects must be completed by 1 May 2019.
This mini-grant program is funded through a generous gift from the McLaughlin Martin Family Environmental Innovation Fund.
