PRINCIPLES OF MARKETING

This marketing course introduces marketing as a functional area of a business enterprise. You will study numerous marketing principles and functions, including the marketing concept, the marketing mix, buyer behavior, market segmentation, product position, and marketing research, all within a global context.

Music History I

This course examines the creation and development of musical genres throughout the historical periods from classical antiquity in Greece and Rome to the culmination of the Baroque. Students will focus on active listening, writing about music and the study of genres within western and non-western social and historical contexts.

ELEMENTARY MUSIC THEORY

This course is structured to teach students the basic skills necessary in order to read, study and perform from musical notation. Musical elements that students will study in this class include pitch, rhythm, the staff system, key and time signatures, intervals, chords, modulation and more will be examined.
