Engineering Electromagnetics

This course stresses real world examples and applications that cover vectors, fields, Electrostatics and Magnetostatics. Plane wave radiation concepts are explored, including polarization and power density.

EMBEDDED CONTROLLER DESIGN

This course focuses on issues of space, cost, low power and fast development in products such as wireless phones, automobiles and security systems. Students will learn how to design embedded systems via both lecture and laboratory instruction.

Design Project 1 & 2

All students will be in a team of at least two people. In the first semester, students formulate a design project, then participate in planning and design phases as technical reviewers in addition to their individual design responsibility.
