The Merrimack College Jail Education Project (JEP) has just wrapped up a series of courses supported by a grant from The Rapoport Foundation.
Bolden, author of Out of the Red: My Life of Gangs, Prison, and Redemption, spoke at the Writers House at the end of April and visited the Middlesex House of Corrections in Billerica, Massachusetts as part of the Jail Education Project.
The Jail Education Project (JEP) at Merrimack College has recently established a Certificate in General Studies. The certification means it is now a credential-bearing program.
Criminology major Emerson Devlin, Class of 2020, worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Middleton House of Corrections.
Merrimack’s Jail Education Project was featured in Merrimack Magazine’s Summer 2019 edition.
