Fulbright FLTA Program

The department of world languages and cultural studies has been hosting Fulbright foreign language teaching assistants since 2005.

It has been a hugely successful initiative that we hope to expand.

Fulbright FLTAs are graduate students from various countries who come to Merrimack to teach foreign languages and take courses for an entire academic year. They live on campus, organize cultural activities, hold “language tables” and teach foreign-language classes at various levels.

Fulbright FLTAs have an office in the department of world languages and cultural studies. All students are encouraged to stop by and say hello!
