Freshman Application Process

Merrimack students are passionate about learning, care about their community, and want to make a difference in the world. We seek students best suited to take advantage of everything Merrimack has to offer.

Accordingly, Merrimack’s Admission Committee considers every aspect of a student’s application and credentials, including the following:

Completing Your Application

In order for a freshman application to be considered “complete,” the following items are required:

Merrimack College is test optional. Standardized test scores (such as the SAT or ACT) are not required for admission. However, we encourage you to submit your scores if you feel they will support or enhance your academic background.

We encourage you to submit first quarter or trimester grades as part of your application when available.

Once you have submitted your application you will receive an email containing your Merrimack Admission ID and instructions for setting up your application status check portal.
