And a bonus? There is NO fee to apply to Merrimack! And test scores are NOT required as part of your application for admission. Our philosophy is that we want to learn about YOU - your goals, interests and why you’re a great fit to join our Merrimack community. We look closely at your transcript and GPA to evaluate your academic performance and will not use test scores in this process.

 Tip: The deadlines above are here to help as your guide to submitting your application. Now, it’s important to remember that Merrimack only requires your application by the deadline. The rest of your supporting documents can be submitted shortly after, and you can always reach out to your admission counselor if you need a little more time. Once everything is submitted, you can expect a decision in about 1 week.

Nursing Application Checklist

Due to challenges associated with COVID-19, standardized tests scores will not be required for students applying for nursing for the fall of 2021.

Merrimack’s Admission Committee considers every aspect of your application and credentials, including the following:

Test Scores

Merrimack College does not require test scores as part of your application for admission. We look closely at your transcript and GPA to evaluate your academic performance and will not use test scores in this process.

After you apply 

You applied! Nice work! Once you submit your application, you will receive an email with further instructions to log into your application portal. Through this application portal, you’ll be able to see if we are missing any items, update your information, view your documents, and check your application status. This is also where you will be informed of your admission decision.

There are a lot of misconceptions about the college admission process that can sometimes scare students away from applying. We want to help separate fact from fiction so you can feel good about applying to Merrimack.
