Position Overview

The Division of Management, Marketing, and Sport Management of the Girard School of Business seeks a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor of Practice (NTT) Faculty Position in Entrepreneurship beginning August/September 2024 (Fall 2024). Primary Responsibilities:

  • The base teaching load is four courses/16 credits per semester that will include a combination of undergraduate and graduate level courses which may include in-person, hybrid and online teaching modalities. There is a possibility of course load

reduction to support the development of experiential learning infrastructure.

  • Courses will be determined by the candidate’s previous experience, expertise, and the school’s needs.
    • The ideal candidate would have experience in teaching one or more of the following:
      • Introductory Entrepreneurship, International Entrepreneurship,Entrepreneurial Finance, Small Business Management, Entrepreneurial Opportunities, Innovation and Future Trends
  • Develop curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Assist with the development and stewardship of business connections and partnerships in the field and integrate innovative experiential learning experiences into the curriculum by way of internships/co-ops, etc. The position will work in close coordination with the Associate Vice President and Associate Dean of Career and Experiential Learning.
  • Opportunities to assist with academic advising, act as faculty advisor to the student club and conduct select service to the department, school, and College may also be responsibilities of the position.


Qualifications:

  • Interested applicants should have relevant teaching experience, and either a suitable Master’s degree with substantive professional experience or hold a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship.

This is an on-campus position as employees are essential in order to provide a fully on-campus, residential college experience for our students and the community.
