Assistant Vice Provost, Strategic Analysis and Data Management

Education

Ainsley Watt joined the Office of the Provost in June 2020. In her current role, she works directly with Dr. Jon Lyon, Executive Vice Provost and Vice President, Institutional Effectiveness, Planning and Sponsored Programs, on a number of strategic projects for Academic Affairs. Since joining the office, she has also held roles as Chief of Staff for the Provost and Assistant Dean under the Vice Provost for Graduate Education.

Prior to becoming a member of the Office of the Provost, she was Assistant Dean in the division of graduate, research, and continuing studies, and before that, Assistant Dean with a focus on undergraduate programs in the Girard School of Business. Prior to joining Merrimack, Watt spent a decade at Clark University in what was then the Graduate School of Management, where she held a variety of roles within admissions, academic affairs, student services, and career services.
