Legends” clothing line aims to represent fallen musicians-highlighting social issues through artistic illustrations and street-style apparel.
This project combines these ideas and makes a sort of memorial with the ability to be taken anywhere. The intent of using all-black apparel is meant to further signify mourning, with the illustration highlighting the musician on the back of the clothing. The logo takes inspiration from Tupac’s “thug life” font style. The bottom of the “L” forms into a lit candle, meant to represent the act of remembering someone who has passed. A crown leans at the top of the logo. The clothing line continues to look at these musicians through the lens of pioneers and torchbearers passing down their legacy.
