A Very Frozen Purim Spiel is a parody musical inspired by the Biblical Book of Esther. This Book’s story is told through song from the hit movie musical “Frozen.” Queen Esther is the hero of the story. She stands up for what is right to save her people. Purim is a beloved Jewish holiday. It has been shared for decades and decades and continues between present and future generations.
A Very Frozen Purim Spiel took place March 14th and 16th, 2025. I am passionate about this project because it brings both of my passions together, theatre and religion. The purpose of this project is to show others that they too can stand up for what is right, and there is no need to hide one’s identity.
