FeatBeats bring the power of music with you at every step! Each shoe has Bluetooth functionality that allows them to connect to any Bluetooth-enabled device and wirelessly stream audio through them, with each shoe acting as a left and right speaker respectively. All circuits inside the shoes are contained within 3D-printed cases that allow pressure and water resistance. They are topped with a 3D-printed TPU cover for durability and comfort. Each shoe features a micro-USB charging port and a power switch in the heel collar that connects to the power supply. The main body of the shoe is based on a Fila High Top 1CM00540-128. The High Top design was chosen so that the electronics had the most space to fit below the wearer’s feet along with a sizable battery pack and padding. The main circuitry consists of a Raspberry Pi Zero W, a 3.7V power supply, a surge board, and 3-ohm speakers on the side of the shoe.
