For my Senior Capstone Project I wrote, animated, and produced a cartoon pilot that could hypothetically be made into a full length television show. This pilot is approximately three minutes long. The story is about two characters, Westin, The Honest Snake Oil Salesman and Hopper, a childish little rabbit. They travel the multiverse selling snake oil to different customers. However, one day when they did not get any business the two try to go and steal back some snake oil Hopper’s old boss Willy has taken from them.Â
Growing up I always loved animated shows and movies. These included Pokémon and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. These productions have always inspired me to create my worlds, characters and stories. Ever since I was a child I had this desire to dream, imagine and create. These shows helped inspire me to build these ideas. For the longest time I always struggled to express myself in the real world. With this project, I wanted to bring one of the worlds from my imagination to life. Therefore, I took an idea that hypothetically could be pitched to Nickelodeon, and reworked it for my Senior Capstone Project. Now one of my stories is coming to life!
