Alyssa Costantino is a current full-time student in the M.S. Nutrition and Human Performance program at Merrimack College. She is a Double Warrior and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences at Merrimack, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2022. Alyssa is currently pursuing her Master’s degree with the goal of becoming a Registered Dietitian. As part of her program, she participates in supervised experiential fieldwork rotations at various locations within the field.
Alyssa is passionate about taking a naturopathic approach to overall mental and physical wellness promotion through the exploration of nutritional, integrative, and alternative therapies in the patient population. Her career goal is to be involved in neuroscience and psychology research settings, operating her future practice from a holistic perspective of lifestyle medicine applied to psychiatric disorders.
Alyssa’s diverse background includes specialization in food service and distribution, community outreach, and addressing food insecurity. Additionally, she has experience in social media and marketing promotion, sports nutrition education, and working in laboratory, research, and clinical settings.
