Biography
Samantha Boucher is in her second year of graduate school as a full-time student in the Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program here at Merrimack. Samantha (Sam) graduated from the University of Massachusetts- Lowell with her bachelor’s in Psychology and Criminal Justice. While at UMass Lowell, Sam was inducted into the International Honor Society of Psychology (PSI CHI). Choosing Merrimack for her Masters was an easy decision for Samantha, who was drawn to the outstanding programs, supportive community, and dedicated faculty and staff. During her first year at Merrimack, Samantha was in a fellowship role through the Office of Wellness Education as a CARE team member. In this role, Samantha was hands-on with the Merrimack student body and collaborated with many organizations on campus. Now in her second year, Samantha has gained valuable experience as a graduate student and is currently completing her internship at Lahey Hospital in Psychiatry Behavioral Medicine. Looking ahead, Samantha intends to work in private practice, providing therapy to children, adolescents, young adults (college-age), and adults in the community.
