Health Science Major Earns RN degree

“Merrimack had always been on my radar from the very beginning. It was the school that my father, many aunts, uncles, and cousins had all chosen and graduated from. During my first tour, I could understand what made it a special place. I can speak to so much about Merrimack but the one thing that separated it from other schools is the sense of community. I could see how students interacted with each other and how much they truly loved Merrimack and it was something I really wanted to be a part of.”

“Merrimack was full of incredible people, staff, and faculty. It was hard to do anything without feeling 100% supported. I was very lucky to have a great group of friends and mentors who, over the course of four years, offered me unrelenting support and guidance for which I am incredible grateful for.”

Earning my bachelor’s degree from Merrimack gave me the knowledge and confidence to go out and receive an additional degree in the field of nursing.”

When asked what important lessons Christian had learned from our faculty, he said that “In our last pathophysiology class my senior year, Dr. Paul Fierimonte held a “final lecture” where in place of class content, he shared with us various pieces of wisdom he had gathered throughout the course of his life. He talked about the importance of role models, motivation, how to forge and direct our talents and essentially how to kickstart our lives as young adults. It was one of the coolest things to be a part of. Definitely a special and unique experience that I still think of to this day.”

Christian was involved in Tau Kappa Epsilon, Club Baseball, and Conversations Among Men for extracurricular activities.
