The St. Thomas and St. Ann apartments house returning students in their final year. St. Thomas and St. Ann provide students with an independent living environment. Each apartment has two bedrooms, a kitchen area, a living room, and semi-private bathroom space. The St. Thomas Community room is located adjacent to C tower and has a large space for students to gather to study or socialize.
Ash Centre is a traditional-style residence hall with doubles, triples and four-person suites. This hall primarily houses first-year and some returning students. There is a large space on the first floor comprising a fireplace, flat-screen television and a pool table. The second floors have a large foyer for group meetings and private study sessions.
Deegan Hall is a traditional-style residence hall with doubles, triples and quads. This hall primarily houses first-year students. Each floor has its own common area, study lounge and community bathrooms. In addition, there is a large community room with a kitchen on the first floor of Deegan West.
Monican Centre is a traditional-style residence hall with doubles, triples and four-person suites. This hall primarily houses first-year and sophomore students. There is a large space on the first floor comprising a fireplace, and a pool table. The second floors have a large foyer for group meetings and private study sessions. Monican Centre is home to the Austin Scholars living learning community.
North Residential Village is a suite-style, independent living area housing primarily returning students. The area has four- and six-person suites. Each suite contains a common living area and semi-private bathroom space. North Residential Village is home to the returning student Austin Scholars living learning community starting fall 2026. It is also the home to Campus Ministry and Service Learning.
O’Brien Hall is a suite-style, independent living area housing primarily returning students. The area has four-, six-, and eight-person suites. Each suite contains a common living area and semi-private bathroom space. O’Brien Hall includes a kitchen, a pool table and a television.
Merrimack College is now part of a unique, joint venture that owns Royal Crest Estates. This opportunity gives students even more access to apartment-style living, providing the very best residential experience for our students. Each apartment has two or three bedrooms, a kitchen area, a living room and semi-private bathroom space. Starting fall 2026 we are looking to offer more options for graduate students. Students living at Royal Crest have access to the pool area, the club house and the community gym.
South Residential Village is a suite-style, independent living area housing primarily returning students. The area has four- and six-person suites. Each suite contains a common living area and semi-private bathroom space.
The Townhouses offer returning students an independent living environment. Each townhouse has a common space, and 2.5 shared bathrooms. Each house has six bedrooms.
Situated at the corner of Rte. 114 and Andover Street, these brand-new residence halls opening Fall 2026 will be home to 540 students. Shawsheen will have traditional dorm rooms, while Essex will have suite-style rooms. The two buildings will also feature more than 12,600 square feet of new academic space, a pavilion for honors students and a fitness center.
