Workshop Description: This session will introduce you to the workshop series. You will learn more about yourself and your emotions while practicing purposefulness and acceptance. Start your school year off right and be able to deal with the setbacks and challenges you will face.

Presenter Biography: Stephanie Letourneau is a certified mindfulness instructor and public school teacher with over 20 years of experience. In addition, she is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) and is currently enrolled in the Brain Longevity Teacher Training through Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation. Stephanie also works as an adjunct professor for Merrimack College.
Certificates of participation (1.5 hours) will be provided to you following the workshop. This event is free and open to Merrimack College students, alumni, and the external community. Light refreshments will be served. Space is limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible with your information below! Additional event details and other logistics (i.e. parking map) will be communicated to you closer to the event.
