Workshop Description: Physical self-care and well-being are foundational for many other habits. When your body is cared for, you’re better able to deal with emotions. Resilient people have a healthy self-perception, are committed to taking care of themselves, and accept themselves more or less as they are.
Presenter Biography: Stephanie Letourneau is a certified mindfulness instructor and public school teacher with over 20 years of experience. In addition, she is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) and is currently enrolled in the Brain Longevity Teacher Training through Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation. Stephanie also works as an adjunct professor for Merrimack College.
Certificates of participation (1 hour) will be provided to you following the workshop. This event is free and open to Merrimack College students, alumni, and the external community.
