4:30 pm - 6:30 pmCrowe Hall 212

Have you ever wondered how we learn a new word? Vocabulary forms the knowledge base for learning across all disciplines. It is also the foundation on which we build more complex language. Students need robust vocabulary in order to access the background knowledge necessary to understand curriculum content.
Participants will practice effective evidence-based strategies to understand, build, and retain vocabulary. Calling all word nerds to come and have some fun exploring this important topic.
