In an increasingly competitive world, we are under an immense amount of pressure to constantly perform. As humans, we easily fall victim to the ego in our minds, triggering self-doubt and insecurities. We find that our own worst enemy is often ourselves. In this workshop, participants will learn the importance of cultivating mental skills in order to manage pressure, overcome setbacks, reframe negative thinking patterns and build resilience. Participants will also develop the mental skills necessary to regulate their emotions and visualize successful outcomes in and out of the classroom.
All workshops are free and open to the Merrimack College community and public. This session will be hosted on Zoom. Please register to receive the reminder emails with logistics (i.e. Zoom link). Certificates of participation (2 hours) will be provided. Please email [email protected] with any questions and concerns
The fall semester edition of Merrimack College’s annual series on diversity, equity and inclusion hosted a screening of “Join or Die,” a documentary about the crossroads between social clubs and politics.
