Lexi has been a licensed clinician since 2010. She spent the first half of her career working in residential treatment programs with teens who had experienced complex childhood trauma and presented with significant challenges in emotion regulation and maintaining safe behaviors. Lexi received extensive training in trauma through the Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute and was employed there as a staff clinician. She later opened her private practice and now works with teens and adult women who are struggling with depression, anxiety, or trauma and offers supervision and private practice start up consultation. Lexi has been teaching in adjunct positions since 2017.
The Teaching Excellence Advancement Challenge (TEACH) program will support and incentivize faculty collaboration to innovate how Merrimack students are taught.
