Associate Professor, Finance
My research focuses on financial inclusion and microfinance. My goal is to understand how low-income individuals and small businesses can access financial services. I am also interested in understanding how microfinance institutions have been affected by the global financial crisis.
I like teaching hands-on classes where students are the protagonists of their own learning. I have taught undergraduate and graduate courses in financial management, corporate finance, investments, financial planning, financial coaching, and corporate governance and valuation.
Experience as member and chair of the board of directors of non-profits dedicated to financial capability and microfinance. Consultant for firm valuation.
The asynchronous online program looks to enroll hundreds more students by next year.
