Associate Professor, Theatre
My scholarship focuses on mid-20th century actor training, and I am a certified teacher of the Michael Chekhov method. I have directed many theatrical productions, including “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” “The Laramie Project,” “Lysistrata,” “Lend Me a Tenor,” “Dracula,” “Urinetown,” “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” “Our Town,” “Dead Man’s Cell Phone,” “True West,” “Tartuffe” and “Creature.” I am a company member of True Story Theatre, a playback theatre company based in Arlington, Massachusetts.
Andrew Cote, assistant professor of practice and assistant director of bands, also presented at this year’s National Association of Music Merchants Show in Anaheim, CA.
