My journey has intertwined with the Honors program faculty. The Honors faculty has played a huge role which has helped me excel in this program. When I was nine years old, I started fundraising for Boston Children’s Hospital. I started a fundraiser called “Mia’s Lemonade Stand” where I held a lemonade stand out front of my house and sold lemonade. All the money made was donated directly to Boston Childrens Hosputal. I continued this fundraiser over the next 11 years and raised over $60,000. When I left for college I was unsure if I would be able to continue this fundraiser, but with the support of the Honors Program I was able to continue the fundraiser through the Honors Student Council. I truly appreciate everything the Honors Program has helped me with thus far.”

Incoming students should join the Honors program because it is the most welcoming community, and it offers endless amounts of opportunity. The community itself is unmatched and I think everyone should have the ability to experience it.”

“My journey through Merrimack has intertwined with the Honors Program through various events, since my start here I have had the ability to make friends through honors as well as made my transition into college so easy.”
