JOIN US as we listen and learn from the 2024 MA Teacher of the Year, De’Shawn C. Washington! This event is FREE and open to the public. “As a teacher, advocate, student, and a cultivator of young changemakers, it is my duty to continuously learn how to empower my students to not only master grade-level standards but to be upstanding individuals with the capacity to ignite change in their communities,” Mr. Washington said.
De’Shawn Washington is the 2024 MA Teacher of the Year. Washington’s goal as an ambassador of public education in the Commonwealth is to cultivate changemakers by rooting academic learning and social learning with joy at the heart.
