Jumpstart
Jumpstart brings college students and community volunteers together with preschool children for year-long, individualized tutoring and mentoring.
Lawrence Math and Science Partnership
Under tutelage of Merrimack College students, middle school students in Lawrence, Massachusetts, build skills in science and math.
Austin Scholars
Austin Scholars serve in the community for two hours each week. The service revolves around the seven themes of Catholic Social Teaching and supports several local organizations surrounding the college.
Hands to Help
Hands to Help, in collaboration with St. Mary’s Church in Lawrence, MA, includes a drop-in center that provides after school tutoring, tax assistance, ESL conversation classes, an open gym night and general form assistance. Additionally, Hands to Help acts as an information referral site to other local non-profits and offers resources, such as computers, for public use.
