Highlights of the space include high fidelity simulation manikins, six simulation labs, and equipment used in clinical settings, such as IV pumps, hospital beds, oxygen flow meters and a medication administration system.
Offering 20,000 square feet of space, the Nursing Center is a contemporary style structure with two floors of classrooms, study space, laboratories and faculty offices. It supports a variety of health science programs for undergraduate and graduate students.
As part of your nursing major requirements, you’ll clock more than 750 clinical and simulation hours using cutting-edge technology that includes hands-on learning opportunities in simulation labs. You’ll work with simulation manikins, classroom iPads, electronic health records, medication administration systems and more.
