Early Application Scholarships Available

Submit your application by our Early Decision I/Early Action I deadline of November 15 to receive a $3,000 Early Application Scholarship. Apply by our Early Decision II/Early Action II deadline of February 15 to receive a $2,000 Early Application Scholarship. *Application must be fully complete to receive this scholarship.

Freshman Deadlines - Fall Semester

There is NO fee to apply and test scores are NOT required as part of your application. Our philosophy is that we want to learn about YOU – your goals, interests and why you’re a great fit to join our Merrimack community. We look closely at your transcript and GPA to evaluate your academic performance and will not use test scores in this process.

Freshman Checklist

In order for a freshman application to be considered “complete,” you must complete the following items:

  • Common Application (no fee to apply)
  • High school transcripts (official or unofficial)
  • Common Application Secondary School Report (SSR)

Optional: We encourage you to submit first-quarter or trimester grades and any supplemental documents you would like us to review, such as a letter of recommendation or resume.

Test Scores

We do not use test scores in our application review process. Instead, we look closely at your transcript, GPA and other application documents to evaluate your academic performance and fit.

  • Once you submit your application, you will receive an email with further instructions to log into your application portal. 
  • Through this application portal, you’ll be able to see if we are missing any items, update your information, view your documents, and check your application status.
  • This is also where you will be informed of your admission decision along with any scholarships and financial aid.

Which application should you submit? 

  • Common Application: Every year, the Common Application goes offline at the end of July to update and switch over for the next class of applicants. If you’d like to apply to start in the Fall 2024 semester, please use the Merrimack Fast Track Application link above.
  • Merrimack Fast Track Application: This option breaks the process down into smaller steps that are faster, easier and more manageable to complete. No essays or recommendations are required.

If you apply by January 15th, you'll receive a $500 annual grant added to your financial aid package.
