You never graduate from good times! A favorite Merrimack tradition, Reunion Weekend is filled with opportunities to gather with classmates, reminisce about student life, learn about exciting things happening at Merrimack today and much more.

Classes Ending in 4 & 9

Join us from June 7-9, 2024, to celebrate Reunion milestones for Merrimack College classes ending in 4 and 9. 

Alumni and guests will come back on campus to reminisce, enjoy good food and drink, and share a few laughs with friends old and new.

Registration for Reunion Weekend will open in April 2024.

Schedule of Events

Friday, June 7

5 – 8 pm: Registration & Hospitality

Your first stop to begin your Reunion Weekend festivities is at the registration and hospitality center. This is your one-stop shop for all Reunion Weekend information, campus maps, schedules, welcome packets, giveaways, self-guided activities and more. Coffee, tea and water station available.

6 – 9:30 pm: Warrior Welcome Back Celebration

Kick off the weekend with live music, food, drinks, fireworks and great company! A selection of hearty appetizers and sweet treats will be available throughout the night. Signature fireworks at 9 pm. $30 per person. Cash Bar.

9:30 pm – 12 am: Augie’s Pub Late Night

Join fellow alumni at Augie’s Pub in the Sakowich Campus Center for conversations, drinks and games. Cash Bar.

8 – 11 am | Breakfast

Enjoy a light breakfast with fellow alumni on campus. $5 per person. Complimentary for overnight guests.

9 am – 6 pm | Registration & Hospitality Center

10 am and 3 pm | Tours of Collegiate Church of Christ the Teacher & Student Union 

Stop by to take a guided tour of the renovated Collegiate Church of Christ the Teacher & new Student Union space by a Merrimack student ambassador.

11 am, 1 pm, 2 pm & 3 pm | Campus Trolley Tours | Lot H, Sakowich Campus Center

Board a trolley and our student ambassadors will show you how the campus has transformed. Tours run approximately one hour. Departs from Lot H, near the Sakowich Campus Center.

Noon – 2 pm | Golden Graduate Luncheon

Recognize Merrimack’s golden graduates from the classes of 1951-1974 during this luncheon which includes a special visit from College President, Christopher E. Hopey Ph.D.

Noon – 3 pm | Warrior BBQ 

Enjoy an afternoon of fun, food and family-friendly activities including live music, lawn games, mini golf, a cornhole tournament and more! $25 per person. Cash bar.

1 – 3 pm | Alumni Pop-Up Tent | Duane Stadium

Visit the Alumni Pop-Up tent at Duane Stadium to hear about other ways to engage as an alum, update your contact information, share some class news, hear about our upcoming events for 2024-2025 and a chance to be entered in a raffle! 

4 pm | Mass and Golden Graduate Ceremony

Join us for a special Reunion Mass. We will remember the classmates we have lost, honor the class of 1974 as we celebrate their milestone 50th reunion and welcome them as Golden Graduates. Immediately following Mass, gather for class photos outside.

4:45 pm | Golden Class Photos (1951-1974) 

Join us for a class photo with your classmates and guests. Please arrive early.

5 – 6 pm | Reunion Cocktail Reception

Join President Christopher E. Hopey, Ph.D. and all reunion classes as we toast to another successful Reunion Weekend. Appetizers and drinks to be served. 

5 pm | Class Photos (1979-2019) | Sakowich Campus Center

Join us for a class photo with your classmates and guests. Please arrive early and find your class sign.

6 – 8 pm | Class Dinners 

Relive your glory days and reconnect with former classmates over a delicious meal. 

Golden Graduate Class Dinner

Classes of 1951-1973 and guests. $50 per person. 

50th Reunion Class Dinner

Class of 1974 and guests. Complimentary for the 50th Reunion Class and (1) guest in honor of your milestone.

Reunion Class Dinner 

Classes of 1979-2019 and guests. $50 per person. 

8 – 11 pm | All Class After Party

Enjoy all that the new Student Union has to offer including bowling lanes, pool tables, golf simulator, ESports and more. Sample desserts, sip on nightcaps and chat the night away at this spectacular after party. Cash Bar.

8 – 10 am | Breakfast

Enjoy breakfast with fellow alumni on campus. $5 per person. Complimentary for overnight guests.

9 – 10 am | Housing Checkout 

On-campus guests must drop off room keys and ID card by 10 am to officially check out of your room. No late check out available.

Reunion Trivia | Pick up at Check-in

Complete the Reunion Trivia and return to the Registration and Hospitality Center for a complimentary Reunion drink ticket.

Places of Reflection on Campus | Pick up guide at check-in

Walk the self-guided tour of the places of reflection on campus and learn about the historical significance of each location, reading and/or prayer and activity.

Merrimack Interactive Historical Timeline | Student Union, Collegiate Church of Christ the Teacher

Visit the interactive historical timeline in the lobby of the Student Union to learn more about the rich history of Merrimack College. View photos, learn about significant events, renovations, athletics successes, presidencies and more. 

Reunion 2024: Walk Down Memory Lane | The Den, Sakowich Campus Center 

Stop by the Den in the Sakowich campus center to flip through old yearbooks, watch photo slideshows by class year and more. Submit your favorite memories from your time at Merrimack. 

Reunion Lounge | The Den, Sakowich Campus Center 

Stop by the Reunion Lounge in the Den, Sakowich campus center all weekend to mingle in small groups with your classmates, reminisce, play games and more. Open hours: Friday from 4 to 9 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 8 pm.

FAQs

When will registration open?

Registration will open in April 2024. Please keep an eye out for emails and social media updates!

Yes, we will offer the opportunity for guests to stay on campus Friday and Saturday night. Additional information regarding cost and what is included to be announced.

Please note all events and locations are subject to change.

Only service animals are allowed on campus.

Due to privacy restrictions, we cannot share alumni information. We strongly encourage guests to reach out to their friends and classmates to encourage them to attend.

Some events, such as the Campus Tours, Cocktail Reception and After-Party are free to all guests.

Other events, such as the Warrior Welcome Back BBQ and Class Dinners do have a fee.

Alumni celebrating their Golden Reunion can attend all events for free.

Yes, we will be creating a keepsake yearbook for the Class of 1974. If you did not receive the email collecting information for the yearbook, please contact events@merrimack.edu. All submissions must be sent by May 10 to be included.

We will offer a wide range of options are each event. Please note of any allergies or dietary restrictions when registering. For specific questions or concerns, contact events@merrimack.edu 

All Reunion events will happen rain or shine. All outdoor events will move inside if needed and new locations will be communicated to guests.
